Virtual Recreation of Bent's Old Fort

Students in Colorado are working with the video game Minecraft, in order to create a virtual replica of Bent's Old Fort. This virtual replica will be accessed for free on the Minecraft game by students and gamers all over the world.
Bent's Old Fort was built in the 1800's and was also replicated in the physical world and turned into a popular restaurant. The restaurant looks like the original fort, and they also started incorporated authentic dishes from the 1800's into the menu. Some funky menu items include rattle snake, rabbit, and bison.
The fact the Minecraft is so popular among young children makes it exciting for Immersive Education teachers because they now have a way to incorporate history and engineers into the learning process.

This is an assignment from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc
